Darts sensation Luke Littler has revealed his plans for his 18th birthday, as he celebrates it today (January 21).

Despite still being young, Littler has already racked-up a raft of career achievements, including winning the World Darts Championship this month. He became the youngest world champion when he beat Michael van Gerwen in the Alexandra Palace final, adding to his list of achievements where he also won the Premier League and the Grand Slam of Darts.

Speaking after the World Darts Championship final, Littler said: “I can’t believe it. Everyone dreams of lifting this trophy, and to actually do it is incredible. I said I needed a quick start, and I got it, but Michael was always there behind me. To get it done when I did was special.

“I could end 2025 winning absolutely nothing, but I’ve picked up the best [prize]. I want to get more than 10 titles this year but if, I end 2025 with nothing, I’ve picked the big one up.”

Littler pocketed £500,000 in prize money and previously revealed he intends to splash it on a Mercedes A-Class. However, he will be having a quiet 18th birthday due to a crazy schedule.

“I haven’t got anything planned really because there is a lot of darts around this time,” Littler told the PA news agency. “I will probably just do something at home before the crazy schedule starts – but I gave myself the best early birthday present by winning the worlds.

“My first year has been difficult, at the start of the year with the Premier League and travelling to the European tours, I have been travelling up and down the country. It’s at the start of every year when the crazy schedule is.”

Littler will travel to Den Borsch for the Dutch Darts Masters later on this week before participating in the World Masters at the end of the month with the high-profile Premier League starting in February.
