PHOTOS: Scene taped off as SIX police vehicles flock to cordon

The incident was first made known to residents by Thames Valley Police at around 9.45am this morning (Sunday, February 23).
Members of the public were warned by the force to stay away from the general Iffley Lock area of the city.

A statement from a TVP spokesperson said: “We’re on scene at an incident just north of Iffley Lock, Oxford.
“A section of towpath is currently closed and members of the public are asked to avoid the area.
“There is no danger to the local community, but please adhere to the closure until further notice.”
At the scene were five police cars and one van on Mill Lane while an officer stood guard at the taped-off path down to the water.
